Abstract

Previous chapter In this chapter, I would like to present the main channels of the introduction of rhythm—under its Platonic guise—in life science and medicine during the end of the 4th and the 3rd centuries. I will naturally use the expression “life science” as a handy way to denote studies that were not considered yet as constituting a unified domain.
