Abstract

It was inevitable perhaps that Nietzsche's "questionable" and antischolarly book become the subject of scholarship. Nietzsche on Tragedy is the first full length study in English to treat extensively the birth and career of Nietzsche's influential work The Birth of Tragedy. The results are both as Nietzsche would have expected and interesting.
