Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the Arab revolutions actors, especially in Tunisia and Egypt. Highlighting the similarities and differences between the two cases, it draws attention to the differences between two types of social actors (secular/religious) that appeared in 2011. It also seeks to analyze their relation to real or symbolic violence and thus restores their specific aspects by studying the positioning of institutions (police, justice) facing the civilian actors and their attitude to major changes in both countries.
