Abstract

This chapter discusses some of the main claims of this volume and the questions that they raise. It covers Aristotle’s silences or his refusal to discuss certain issues at length, the treatment of Aristotle’s early and late works, the uses of strong dialectic, systematic philosophy in Aristotle, metaphysics, and defences of Aristotle.
