Abstract

The scientific and technological revolution that started after the Second World War has entered a new stage since the 1970s. Under its impact, a new trend has emerged in the development of the social sciences. The research of China's social sciences is confronted with the urgent task of modernization of research problems, means of research, training of personnel, and organization and management. This article is an attempt to put forward some superficial views on these questions in the hope of leading to in-depth discussion among the philosophy and social science circles
