Abstract

Aesthetics for the Therapist is an up to date and comprehensive guide to the knowledge and skills required by beauty therapists treating the face, hands and feet. Based on Ann Hagman's first successful book, the Aestheticienne, this book is in three parts. Part A: Anatomy and Physiology, provides the theory which underpins current advances in beauty therapy. Part B: Treatments, includes standard treatments, clearly illustrated, and new treatments from Spain, Japan and India. PArt C is devoted to setting up and running a business.
