Abstract

The process of formation and implementation of scientific and technical policy in the field of standardization has been studied, and the experience of the development of standardization in countries with market economies has been analyzed and summarized. The main directions of improvement of legislative and regulatory acts on standardization in the Republic of Uzbekistan have been studied. Based on the analysis of the consumer market and its trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries, the priority directions and application of international standards and rational methods of harmonizing national standards are recommended
