Abstract

---- The hermeneutic phenomenology deployed by Heidegger in his way of thinking has inspired several therapeutic proposals based on his philosophical approaches. From the example of the therapeutic treatment of depression, we will try to show what the analysis of existence in a Heideggerian key can contribute to the sciences of the psyche. Here the existentialism of the world and the worldliness of existence (Dasein) will be used, since in the depressive situation the world that seems “solid” in the average daily life becomes without foundation and the nothingness that “sustains” the world is revealed, leaving it without a hold.
