Abstract

This paper intends to show the relationship of Ernesto de Martino’s anthropology with psychiatric and psychoanalytic sciences. De Martino in fact used clinical document to explain magic rituals and the system of symbols that man in any historical time build to exorcise the danger of individual or cultural apocalypse, where the Dasein is exposed to the risk of a crisis. De Martino red Pierre Janet, Freud and Binswanger’s works, however he modeled these studies trough his personal theoretical intention, that was to show the dynamics that lead to the resolution of crisis.
