Abstract

This paper provides, from a systematic point of view, some remarks about the identity and difference of theoretical and practical syllogism. While stressing the structural analogy of bolh forms of inference, it draws attention to important differences, such as the possibility of deriving contradictories conclusions from a single set of premises in practical syllogism
