Abstract

The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy was founded in 1995 for the purpose of providing detailed, scholarly information on key topics and philosophers in all areas of philosophy. Articles are peer-reviewed and blind-refereed. The IEP offers access to a keyword site search engine and is free of charge to all Internet users. It is continuously revised and updated. It had 880 articles in 2024, and it is has 6.9 million different visitors every year.
