Abstract

Uma das teses mais fortes de Allison em seu livro Idealismo Transcendental: uma interpretação e defesa é a idéia de que o conceito de validade objetiva, na segunda edição da Crítica da Razão Pura, seja uma característica definidora dos juízos. No que se segue, argumento que tal interpretação não procede, uma vez que Allison não tem sucesso em explicar a aplicação do conceito a juízos metafísicos, bem como em justificar o alegado abandono, por parte de Kant, da teoria do juízo dos Prolegômenos, que exclui certos juízos empíricos da classe dos juízos objetivamente válidos.One of the strongest theses in Kant’s Transcendental Idealism: an interpretation and defense, by Henry Allison, is the idea that objective validity, in the second edition of the Critique of Pure Reason, is an essential trait of judgments. In this paper, I disagree with such reading, since, from what I understand, Allison can not explain the objective validity of metaphysical judgments and is not able to justify the alleged fact that Kant would have given up the theory of judgments of the Prolegomena that excludes certain empirical judgments from the group of the objectively valid judgments
