Abstract

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used in healthcare in Jordan, paying special attention to the ethical and legal issues it brings. Although AI can greatly benefit health services by enhancing diagnostics, patient care, and how things run smoothly, it also raises some worries about data privacy, transparency, and following the rules. To understand the situation in Jordan better, the study involved a discussion group with healthcare workers, legal professionals, and AI experts. The results indicate that while the Jordanian government is eager to embrace AI, there are some missing pieces when it comes to laws specifically for AI systems. Participants stressed the importance of strong regulations, clear ethical guidelines, and solid training for healthcare staff to make sure AI is used safely and fairly. If these issues are addressed, it could really change the way healthcare is delivered while ensuring that patient trust and ethical standards are upheld.
