Failure of Boredom: The Pendulum of Composition as Identity
American Philosophical Quarterly 55 (3):281-292 (2018)
Abstract
This paper provides new arguments for the following claim: either strong composition as identity cannot retain the full strength of both the logical principles of one-one identity and its semantical principles or it only delivers cases of boring composition in that it entails mereological nihilism.Author's Profile
