Abstract

Stanislas Dehaene’s well-known arguments on our innate grasp of mathematics and on how the brain understands and manipulates numbers and other forms of mathematical information are beyond any reasonable doubt. This paper mostly deals with an account of Dehaene’s arguments. Anyway, as I think that there are some lacunae in his philosophical bases, I point out some criticisms on his evolutionist constructivism
