Abstract

The primary social issue of the past was the question of production: how to produce enough material goods to ensure the physical survival of society. Even if the human mind functions on a completely different level, it nevertheless depends on the body. Today the question of production has been at least theoretically solved. True, humanity still produces far less than it needs to meet all of its material requirements. Millions of people in poor countries still die of starvation, which remains the primary Malthusian regulator of the population in certain parts of the world. Poverty has not been completely defeated even in the most developed and affluent countries, and, the production of material goods remains a primary concern. However, although the question of production has not been completely solved in practice, it is solvable from the technical perspective. This is one of the most important milestones in human development and rightly gives us hope for the future.
