Political self-organization of citizens of Ukraine in social networks

Abstract

The article is devoted to social networks as a structural component of the mass media, which is actively involved in shaping new models of information consumption, social and political activity in Ukraine.It is noted that social networks have become an effective platform that allows not only to spread information but also to influence the off­line world, including the political self­organization of citizens. It is proved that modern communications, especially ones the type of network, such as Internet, play a significant role in shaping the information society. In Ukraine massive online audience and sociocultural environment is formed, the new models of information, consumption, social and political activity are made. The report states that the desire to communicate consolidates a wide audience at a particular site. Due to the large number of users involved in this environment it can be considered as a powerful tool to achieve different objectives and promote the interests of young people whose minds have changed significantly under the influence of modern information and communication technologies and media tools.
