Abstract

The eclectic personality of the prince Abdelkader, the richness and diversity of his work have not left French authors indifferent. They actually talked about this monumental figure in one way or another. In fact, the prince Abdelkader made history by its modernity, its tolerance and its open-mindedness. We will try to demonstrate the French reception of prince Abdelkader by examining the content of different books. So what caught the attention of the French authors in writing about Abdelkader?
