Abstract

Anticipations are the core of orientation in activity. People observe the world from their unique place in the social space and view it as their potential fields of activity, anticipating responses to their actions. Unique places afford unique views and perspectives and the unsurpassable differences make dialogues both necessary and possible. Worrying situations challenge dialogicity and attract authoritarian discourse. In contrast, Anticipation Dialogues encourage anticipating in relational settings and make polyphony of views a resource for joint activity.
