Abstract

The Philosophy Department at Vanderbilt University is proud to announce the “Emerson Bicentennial Conference.” This interdisciplinary conference will celebrate the 200th birthday of one of America’s truly great thinkers. Potential speakers include: Barbara Packer, David Marr, Arthur Lothstein, and Russell Goodman, with a possible keynote speech by Stanley Cavell.
