Abstract

The Philosophy Education Society, the publisher of The Review of Metaphysics, is pleased to announce that the winner of the 1969 Dissertation Essay Competition is Carl R. Kordig. The title of the paper based on this dissertation is "The Theory-Ladeness of Observation." Dr. Kordig received his doctorate from Yale University and is presently a member of the Department of Philosophy at Memphis State University. The paper will be published in The Review of Metaphysics.
