Abstract

The article is attempt to prove the statement about domestic tradition of inward human being’s life’s investigating as one of the conceptual and theoretical sources of Pamphile Yurkevych’s philosophical-anthropological doctrine. The back-bone of the tradition, its cardinal principles and essential phases of becoming and progress from XIth to the 40 ies of XIXth cc. were substantiated thoroughly. The conceptual connection of Pamphile Yurkevych’s philosophical-anthropological doctrine and theoretical heritage of the tradition’s representatives was revealed in succession. The key difference between Pamphile Yurkevych’s philosophical-anthropological doctrine and dominant anthropological concepts of XIX th century was properly distinguished due to comparative analysis. The thinker’s philosophical-anthropological doctrine is the most valuable component of his conceptual and theoretical heritage. The problem of human being is basic for the whole diverse creative work of P. Yurkevych. This fact is not casual; therefore anthropological problems have been being leading not only in European, but in domestic philosophy of the middle of the XIX th c. as well. There were a few concepts about human being’s provenance, essentiality, place and role in the world, elaborated at the philosophical anthropology of that time. The philosophical-anthropological doctrine of Pamphile Yurkevych has its peculiarity. It is the orthodox anthropological doctrine according to its content and form, basic principles of which were ascertained due to Bible and Christian thinkers’ works. The deep investigation of the philosophical-anthropological doctrine of Pamphile Yurkevych affirms the fact of Pamphile Yurkevych’s philosophical-anthropological doctrine’s other conceptual and theoretical sources’ existence. The domestic tradition of inward human being’s life’s investigation – from XI th to the 40 iesof XIX th cc. – tends to be one of the fundamental. We are certain in the fact that Pamphile Yurkevych’s philosophical-anthropological doctrine is defective in its known aspect in case of this tradition’s absence as for domestic philosophical concept.
